Developing life-changing medication and treatments for over seven decades
Our client is a research-driven, Swiss multinational pharmaceutical company that has been developing bespoke treatments around reproductive, maternal, gastroenterology and urology health for over 70 years. They have developed life-changing medication and treatments through extensive research and the use of innovative applications.
Built to change lives
Enuresis, also known as bed-wetting, is a common problem in paediatrics. Children face this issue for several reasons and it disrupts their everyday lives. Our client approached Ardent to develop a child patient care and health management app allowing parents or guardians to track and report how many times their child had gone to the toilet, and times when they have not had control of their bladder. The app was built to collect and analyse data for our pharmaceutical client to improve medicines and understanding of the medical condition.

Making it a fun experience
Our dedicated engineers hand-crafted an innovative mobile application designed for children to easily record times and dates when they had been to the bathroom or not. We created an easy-to-use interface so either the parent or their child can operate the app through a reporting section. Bespoke gamification visuals were developed to increase engagement with the children using the app with colourful cartoon animation and backgrounds.

Our skilled developers added a diary section that allowed children to get rewarded when progress had been made, this helped and encouraged children to use the toilet as much as they could to prevent bedwetting. The information inputted in the app by parents and their children was then turned into data that was collected through our innovative software, which was easily analysed by the Pharma company.

For a better tomorrow
The mobile app allows our client to expand their reach for their research efforts and gain a significant amount of valuable insights from the data collected. The research enabled our clients to improve medication offered for the condition and empowered them to make well-informed decisions based on primary research. The research project is ongoing and continues to play a vital role in the development of medication and treatment for the patients.
If you are looking to develop a cross-platfrom, highly engaging mobile app to suit your target audience, then get in touch today to find out how Ardent can bring your vision to life.
