Meet the team: Vikas Bare - Associate Technical Account Manager

Tell us about what you do at Ardent

I work primarily on one of our client accounts. I manage the team working on the software development projects for the client including web, windows and mobile as well as the maintenance and developments.

I am also involved in the decision-making with the technical team focusing on selecting the right technologies and architectures for new projects. As part of the technical audit team, I take part in validating the standards and quality of projects.

What does your typical day look like?

My day usually revolves around discussions with the team on the latest development priorities, review and guidance on technical aspects of projects, and any technical decision-making on projects. I regularly meet with tech and audit teams to discuss and review upcoming projects. I also review the development tasks of applications and provide updates to management and stakeholder.

We like to ensure that we foster a supportive environment so we will regularly have learning and fun activities to ensure the team are happy.

How to did you find the office environment when you first started?

Things have changed a lot over time in the 8 years I have been at Ardent. I have enjoyed the process of seeing the Ardent culture and office environment evolve over the years. It’s a place where I am happy to work and a company that I am glad to be a part of.

What do you most value about the Ardent culture?

One of the greatest things I value about the Ardent culture is the freedom and the ability to communicate and reach out to anyone in the organisation, whether that’s the leadership of the juniors. To me, the Ardent culture is about encouragement, support, action and upgradability.

What’s something you are most proud of achieving since you have been at Ardent?

We have helped clients find the best solution for their projects, which is something I am proud of. The ongoing client project that I work on has enabled us to provide technical recommendations to clients which have resulted in great success for the company. This also created a wave of new technology migration of projects, which I was thrilled with.

What are you most looking forward to?

We have established a strong foundation with our client's projects and I look forward to exploring new platforms and tech stacks to drive growth for our client's organisations.

What led you to a career in tech?

I like to build or create and really enjoy programming, hence my career in IT. IT is food for the mind.

How did you find your way to Ardent?

When I was open to a new role, I found Ardent which offered freedom to experiment, that was one of the biggest selling points of Ardent for me.

Who are you when you’re not at Ardent?

I am simply me, a nature lover, family man and a friend to not many but a few good friends. That’s all.
